I've been watching Rachel Maddow on MSNBC a lot lately because she's really good at connecting the dots in the ongoing Russia investigation. In this segment tonight, she discusses links between the guy Trump has chosen to head the criminal division of the Justice Dept., Brian A. Benczkowski (Justice Dept. Nominee Says He Once Represented Russian Bank) and Alfa Bank, the Trump organization, and Trump's snap decision about transgender people serving in the military .....
Rachel is a superb dot discoverer and connector! She has to be the smartest commentator on MSNBC. And she obviously has a superb research staff. She should run for public office, i.e., the House or Senate.
She's originally from Castro Valley, CA ... just (literally) over the hill from where I live. That area is far from "blue" when it comes to politics. CA itself has a rep of being blue but it really is purple. Outside the major urban areas, it is red as red can be.

ReplyDeleteYes, she seems really bright. I see at her Wikipedia page that she went to Stanford and Oxford. Probably too smart to get into politics :)
